I’ve run in Nike Pegasus for nearly 30 years, ever since Nike end of lifed the good old Trophy. For a regular styled runner who tends to mid foot striking and mild pronation the well padded front is the best there is. I have had many, many pairs and, although I don’t need the fashion changes Nike uses to differentiate the year’s models (and thus charge more) I couldn’t imagine a more comfortable, dependable shoe. I’ll strap on a new one and run a marathon without thought of running them in. Great quality control, great show. If you plan to run in rain or on slippery or rocky trails then the water resistant Pegasus version with the trail traction control is better.
