The quality of the pencil case is excellent. The colors are pretty (Chelsea) and it looks very neat.

Inside there is a flap to store things like paper clips or binder clips and an additional flap to put up to four pens and/or pencils. There is then a storage area. This keeps a regular scientific calculator, an eraser, several more pencils, and a mini stapler. It is pretty large, but it keeps everything neat and organized. I’ve had other pencil cases in which you need to dig around for what you are looking for, but this keeps it all nice and tight. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend to a friend.

I have owned mine for over 2 years now and access it daily as well as it travels with me when I go out of town… but as a makeup case. The case still looks new and I stuff it silly sometimes. The pen/pencil loops (there are four) are perfect for holding my eye lash comb, eye liner, lip liner, and eye brow brush. The zipper pocket nicely holds tweezers, chap stick, lip gloss (and still has room for other misc items) and the main compartment holds my makeup pan, lash curler, mascara, eye drops, etc. It`s perfect for keeping those items organized, and helps me maintain my minimalist approach when packing or when I’m on the go.

The product is made very well and can imagine I will never have to replace it.

I ordered this in the Crochet color, and it’s just as it appears here on Amazon. As a teacher, I was looking for a pencil case that didn’t look like it would belong to one of my students, and this one fits the bill. The dark pattern is really cute but professional-looking, and when you unzip it, it has an interior flap that contains a small zipper pouch on one side and loops to hold four pencils/pens on the other. Below that is a nice, deep trough to hold other small supplies, such as erasers, a mini stapler, etc.

It’s also made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.

My husband has had a Dakine backpack that has held up with regular use for almost twelve years now, so I know that their products are high quality, but I’ll be sure to update my review to let others know how it holds up over time.

I am using this to store my injectable medication it is perfect for this… holds my medi pen and all my other supplies. Looks so cute so you never worry that ppl know what is in this, very sturdy and cute pattern , love this case

i’m an old dude who decided to go back to school and needed a pouch or box so my pencils wouldn’t break. i bought this and liked it. alot bigger than i expected but big enough to hold a scientific calculator and then some. i store my calculator and about ten pens/pencils with plenty of room left. a good buy if you carry alot of supplies around.

I’m a graduate student and intern at a middle school. I wanted a pencil case that was functional and also would not be confused as belonging to one of my students. I was a little hesitant to buy this case at first since it is a bit on the larger size, but now I am obsessed with it. Inside there’s a zippered "flap" where I store my mini white-out, paper clips, earbuds, and a small stack of sticky-notes. On the underside of the zipper flap is a band to hold 4 pens. In the actual pocket section I am able to pack 4 slim highlighters, 9 pens/pencils (I carry so many b/c I designate different colors for different classes), chapstick, tide-to-go, and even my travel toothbrush and toothpaste. And it’s not even jam-packed. I love it b/c there is a place for everything- I am an organization nut. If you truly only need a couple pens and pencils, this may not be for you. However, if you need to carry around a healthy supply of office supplies I would 100% recommend this case- and because of the shape it really doesn’t take up much space at all in a backpack or purse!

I am in grad school and have four teenagers. We ALL bought this brand of pencil case. I don’t have to buy another pencil case as long as we all are in school. Very well assembled and holds A LOT. I would highly recommend this case.

Got it for my cousin, for school; since her pencil case was old and torn. Nice and sturdy. Seems there is plenty of room for pencils and whatever else. She’s happy. Dakine quality again!
